Established in 1990 by Laramie Williams, MD, PhD, Arboretum Pediatrics operated as a solely owned private practice for five years. Arboretum Pediatrics joined Carolinas HealthCare System in 1995 to provide expanded services to the patients of the practice and community. In 1997, the practice expanded by acquiring Satterfield Pediatrics, a pediatric practice solely owned by Jamison Satterfield, MD.
We are committed to providing the best available healthcare for infants, children, and adolescents. Such commitment requires continuous education commencing with the challenges of infant healthcare and extending through the special needs of adolescents. Our medical directives emphasize regular well check-ups, maintaining up-to-date immunizations, and providing sick care as required. We are continually searching for and implementing the highest medical care for the management of chronic and acute conditions.
Our physicians currently admit acutely ill children to Levine Children's Hospital and care for newborn infants at Carolinas Medical Center-Main. Levine Children's Hospital is the largest children's hospital between Atlanta and Washington, D.C., with over 30 specialized pediatric services including the highest designated level of neonatal intensive care.
All of our providers are board-certified and dedicated to providing your family with the highest quality individualized care. Our providers and staff strive to provide excellent service to families in the Arboretum, Ballantyne, Charlotte, Matthews, Mint Hill, and Pineville areas as well as other surrounding areas including Union and York counties.
